Additional Training for Trainee Driving Instructor Licence
For PDIs who have already passed Parts 1 & 2 and now want to continue onto a Trainee Licence (pink badge)
This course is for Potential Driving Instructors (PDIs) who have already passed Part 1 and Part 2 of the DVSA qualification process and later decide they want to continue onto a Trainee Driving Instructor Licence (pink badge). Some PDIs choose not to take the trainee-licence training at first, but then change their mind. This course is a separate, standalone purchase for those PDIs.
The DVSA requires 20 hours of additional training before a trainee licence can be issued. Train to Become a Driving Instructor Co. UK will act as the sponsoring driving school for the trainee licence.
The 20 Hours of Training Include
In-Car Training Sessions
The trainer observes you coaching real pupils and provides direct feedback.
Classroom-Based Sessions
Covering lesson planning, teaching standards, and professional development.
Distance-Learning Assignments
Written tasks and assignments to be completed as part of the training.
