I am so thankful to a friend of mine for introducing me to Dave@Calm Driving. What sets Dave apart is not only his immense knowledge and wealth of experience but his ability to be so unassuming and genuinely caring/desiring the best for you. He has made me feel so welcome and at ease so quickly even though I am only at an early stage of my training. This family run business which makes all who sign up feel like an extended family is so rare in this day and age. I have been able to really sense my development and I find the way the all inclusive course is set up very thorough, stimulating and rewarding. I approached David to see if he could help me with my pt3 training due to failing 1st with a different trainer. He was recommended highly to me from the test centre examiners. On our 1st meeting he asked what I wanted from the training and I explained I wanted a full breakdown of each part and he done exactly what I asked for. David is such a patient trainer and helps in every way possible. If I was struggling on any part then we would fix it. I highly recommend David and if and when I get a standards check I’ll sure be going back for help that I may need. After the training I received from David I passed 2nd time. He also supported me at the test centre before I went out and when I returned which really helped with nerves.

I'm thoroughly enjoying this journey to becoming a driving instructor. It's a longer process than I anticipated and it's certainly not easy but what I will say is it's incredibly rewarding. David goes above and beyond to ensure his trainees are happy and making progress. His knowledge and experience is so in-depth that I'm yet to ask a question he's unable to answer. His approach is calm, he's clear and precise and he's able to adjust his own teaching style to suit anyone. The online learning syllabus is easy to follow. It challenges in a good way and really helps develop our knowledge and teaching skills, while the in car training sessions are fun and really get us thinking like driving instructors. Thanks to David I sailed through my parts 1 and 2. I'm currently teaching on my trainee licence and learning every day. David is always there for advice and help. Nothing is too much trouble. In fact the whole team are great, from David who is a great instructor to his wife Debbie who keeps things running for all the instructors and who never complains when I drop by for a quick chat, and also to the entire Calm Driving team of instructors who are all happy to help any aspiring ADI. Choosing Train to Become a Driving Instructor was absolutely the right choice. A fantastic support network coupled which first class training.

When I first started this training, I had no idea what to expect. But from the first minute of my taster session I felt at ease and excited to learn. David's training throughout all 3 parts was amazing, it was detailed and I understood everything that was required of me. The support was always there, nothing was ever too much trouble for David. The 1 to 1 training was perfect and I felt that I learnt so much from the sessions. I always felt relaxed and looked forward to our sessions. Having David present for my part 2 and 3 tests was a real help, to know someone was there for you and that they cared was brilliant. I don't think I could have done it without David's continued encouragement and unwavering support. Now I am a fully qualified ADI, I can't think of any job I would rather do, and I owe it to David. I get up each morning, excited for the day ahead. Would I recommend training with David? Absolutely, 100%. His course and training style is fantastic, he is always there if you need him, that never changes. I personally cannot thank David enough and I will be staying with the amazing Calm family. I can honestly say the training that David has provided has been invaluable! From the very beginning David made me feel comfortable and his coaching methods are the best I have experienced. His attention to detail and his explanations of every aspect of learning how to become a driving instructor is extremely professional. The training given by David was absolutely brilliant! He's a fountain of knowledge when it comes to driving instruction. When out training for my part 2 he was very patient and calm and made me feel relaxed.
